Tell us about the house

If you smell burning, see sparking, or have no power at all, that's not a form problem: shut off the breaker if it's safe to reach and get in touch directly. Otherwise tell us what's going on and where the house is, and one licensed, insured electrician who works your town calls you back.

Book a Hamptons electrician

Sixty seconds. One licensed, insured electrician who works your town calls you back — typically the same day for a real emergency, within one business day otherwise. Free for homeowners; nobody else gets your number.

Street address or nearest cross street, plus the town.

We use what you send us only to put you in touch with the right electrician. Never sold, never used for marketing. Privacy policy.

If this is an emergency

Shut off the breaker for the affected circuit if you can identify it safely, or the main breaker if you can't — then say so in the notes, since urgent calls go out ahead of everything else in the queue. If you see flame or heavy smoke, call 911 first.

For everything else

  • What's happening — no power, a repair, a panel or service upgrade, a generator, an EV charger, outdoor lighting, a rewire, or new construction.
  • Roughly how old the house's electrical system is, and whether it's had any recent work.
  • Whether the house is occupied or closed up, which changes how quickly a small problem becomes an expensive one.

Water Mill Electric Co. is a Hamptons electrical referral service, not an electrical contractor. We put homeowners in touch with independent, licensed and insured electricians; the electrician you hire performs the work, provides the quote and carries the warranty. Our service is free for homeowners; participating electricians pay us a referral fee. Published cost figures are 2026 national ranges or, where named, current local permit fees, with sources listed in our guides, not quotes.
